How can my child clear his/her doubts instantly during the online class?
Since we provide one-to-one Online classes to students, they can clear their doubts instantly in between the lectures themselves. Our teachers also give some specified time for Question and Answer sessions to clear the doubts before finishing any topic.
We also provide students to ask their doubts in the following classes after the topic is over.
Are the demo classes free?
Learning Potato provides One free demo session to students to understand and build confidence with the teacher. If a student likes the demo session, he/she can enroll in online classes or home tuition according to convenience.
Can we choose the timing of the classes?
Yes, students can discuss and fix a particular time that suits their schedule and the availability of the faculty. We leave this decision on students and faculties to match the preferred timings according to their suitability.
Will the teachers also help with school homework?
LearningPotato does not encourage students to complete their homework at the time of tuition. Though our teachers are always there to clear any doubt that students encounter while completing their school homework.
Do you give lesson notes and homework?
Yes, our teachers do give lesson notes for sessions wherever necessary. We encourage students to make their own notes and our teachers assist them in developing this habit. Learning Potato does not encourage spoon-feeding. Making handwritten notes at this stage helps students in future endeavors too.
Our teachers give homework only when it's necessary for students to understand a topic in detail and work on building strong concepts.
Are home tuition better than online classes?
This is subjective to students' comfort and the environment in which they want to learn. Learning Potato provides one-to-one home tuition and one-to-one online classes.
Comparing these two with each other is not appropriate. If your child is more happy and comfortable with online classes, opt for the one else, choose the home tuition option. There’s no difference in the quality of education being delivered.
Is it safe to learn from a home tutor during COVID-19?
Our Home tutors ensure they follow all protocols like wearing a mask, sanitizing themselves and maintaining social distancing while teaching students at home. Therefore it is safe to learn from home tutors of LearningPotato.
